Our growers groups were established to meet consumer demand and supply the fresh produce industry with high quality produce 12 months of the year.
Founded on close working relationships and built up over two decades, many small growers banded together under the SCSMB Produce banner to form partnerships and a collective identity.
These groups have become an important part of the companies activities. Centralising systems, packing and marketing allows for a reduction in overall costs. Customers receive more competitive prices for the same high quality produce and in return demand increases and our growers see mutual returns. Members of the growers groups enjoy improved bargaining status and access to major retail outlets.
Growers groups have developed throughout the UK, Holland, Canary Islands and mainland Spain and new partners are invited to share in the companies continuing success.
